Legal
High‑level terms, data handling, and security practices for using Kyronix to build evidence packs. This page is a summary, not legal advice. Please review with your own counsel before relying on it.
Terms of use
Kyronix is provided as a hosted service that helps you generate evidence packs from PDFs you upload. By using Kyronix, you confirm that:
- You have the right to upload and process the documents you submit.
- You will not use Kyronix for unlawful purposes or to violate third‑party rights.
- You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before using them in any legal or business context.
Kyronix is provided on an “as is” basis. We aim for high reliability, but we do not guarantee that the service will be error‑free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every matter. You remain responsible for your filings, strategy, and compliance obligations.
Privacy & data handling
Kyronix processes the documents you upload in order to generate evidence packs and related outputs. We treat your documents as confidential and handle them as follows:
- Purpose‑limited use. Your data is used only to provide the Kyronix service to you (for example, generating packs, indexes, and related outputs).
- No training generic public models. We do not use your case documents to train generic public AI models.
- Retention. Evidence packs and related artifacts may be stored for a period so you can re‑download them. You can request deletion of stored packs by contacting us.
- Sub‑processors. Kyronix may rely on third‑party infrastructure providers (for example, cloud hosting and AI model providers) to operate the service. We aim to work with vendors that meet reasonable security standards.
Do not upload data that you are contractually or legally prohibited from processing with cloud services. If you have heightened confidentiality requirements (for example, regulated industries or specific jurisdictions), contact us so we can discuss fit.
Security
Kyronix is designed to be a practical tool for small teams, not a full case management system. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures, including:
- Transport security (HTTPS) for data in transit.
- Use of reputable cloud infrastructure providers.
- Limited access to production systems to personnel who need it.
No system can be perfectly secure. You are responsible for deciding whether Kyronix is appropriate for your firm, your clients, and your specific matters. If you need more detail, contact us and we can explain our current controls in more depth.
Billing & plans
Kyronix offers free and paid plans, as described on the Pricing page. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Plans are billed based on the number of evidence packs you generate per month (plus any one‑off Summary Passes you purchase).
- You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan; changes typically apply to future billing periods.
- Fees paid are generally non‑refundable, except where required by applicable law.
If you need custom terms, higher volume, or specific procurement requirements, contact us so we can discuss a tailored agreement.
Contact & changes
If you have questions about these terms, privacy, or security, you can reach us at contact@kyronix.ai.
Kyronix may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
This page is a summary of how Kyronix works today. It does not replace a formal legal agreement. You should review any formal terms and policies with your own counsel.
